1.  Copy the file NBF.SYS into the folder C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS (attachment below)
2.  Copy the file NETNBF.INF into the folder C:\WINDOWS\INF  .  If the INF folder is not visible you need to make it viewable by following the directions in the document ENG-9000-001 attached below.
3.  Open the CONTROL PANEL
4.  Click on NETWORK CONNECTIONS
5.  Right click the Local Area Connection and select "Properties"
6.  Click INSTALL
7.  Select PROTOCOL
8.  Click ADD
9.  Select NetBEUI protocol and click OK.

If you go back to the Local Area Connection and look at "Properties" it should show the NetBEUI protocol with a check next to it.  

BB.  Now you have to physically connect your computer to the console. 

1.  Connect the blue cross-over Ethernet cable between the Stratagem console and your computer.
2.  Turn on the Stratagem console
3.  After the console finishes booting up exit from IMAGEM to DOS.

CC.   Next you need to map the D:\ drive on the Stratagem to your network as follows:

1.  Open of Windows Explorer (you can right click the START button and click EXPLORE)
2.  Click TOOLS
3.  Select "Map Network Drive"
4.  Select a drive letter for the Stratagem D: drive.  "S:" is a good one so you can remember that "S:" stands for Stratagem.
5.  Enter the folder name \\STRATAGEM\D-DRIVE
6.  Click  FINISH
7.  Your computer should find the D-drive on the Stratagem console and show you all the directories on the console.

DD.  In order to get IMAGEM running on your laptop you need to first copy the D:\IMAGEM directory from the console to the root directory of the C-drive of your computer.

1.  After you connect to the console from your computer you will see the IMAGEM directory.  Right click that directory and select COPY.
2.  Right click the C:\ drive on your computer and PASTE the IMAGEM directory to your computer.  You should now have the folder C:\IMAGEM on your computer.

EE.  Next you should set up a folder to hold your data directories.  For example make a directory called "EH4-data" in the root of your C-drive so on your computer you now have a folder called "C:\EH4-DATA".  Now copy the data directory from the Stratagem console to the "EH4-data" folder on your computer.  For example if you have a data directory called "TEST" you will now have it on your computer as "C:\EH4-DATA\TEST".

FF.  In order to get the IMAGEM software to run on your computer you need to set up the environment variables.  Do the following:

1.  Go to the DOS prompt on your computer.
2.  In DOS type "PATH C:\IMAGEM"
3.  Type "SET IMAGEM=C:\IMAGEM"
4.  Enter the directory with the data you want to look at.  For example type "C:\EH4-DATA\TEST"
5.  Type "IMAGEM C" and hit Enter. 

This should allow you to look at your data in the IMAGEM software.
